SEO audit
An audit your team can put to work.
A tool reports hundreds of issues, but nobody knows which ones matter? I assess technical accessibility, site structure, content and search performance in the context of your business.
FEEDBACK ON GOOGLE
Good work. Real feedback.
What clients say about working with me — directly on Google.
The outcome
What you can put to work
Instead of an unexplained export, you receive an action backlog. Each relevant finding includes evidence, affected pages, a recommendation and a testable acceptance criterion.
- Documented findings with affected URLs or page types
- Prioritised actions and visible dependencies
- A findings review and handover to editors or developers
Illustrative working template · not a client result
A finding should become an actionable task
Finding
An important service page is accidentally excluded from indexing.
The project must substantiate this through URL inspection and page checks.
Task
Correct the indexing directive and any conflicting signals.
Document the owner and affected templates.
Acceptance
The page is accessible, indexable and internally linked.
Retest; the search engine still decides whether to index it.
Your starting point
Bring your concrete challenge.
We clarify your goal, available material and a useful scope before starting.
Working together
A clear path from the first discussion to handover
- 01Agree goals, scope and access
- 02Review data and pages manually
- 03Prioritise and explain findings
- 04Retest corrections if required
Scope and responsibilities
We agree the scope first: selected templates, the whole website or a specific decline. Implementation, link assessment and additional markets are included only when agreed.
Frequent Questions about the SEO Audit
How long does an SEO audit take?
The duration depends on scope, website size, and data access. A focused audit can be completed significantly faster than the analysis of a large e-commerce site or multiple country operations. The timeline will be officially determined prior to project start.
What access is required?
Frequent access to Google Search Console and web analytics is valuable. Depending on the specific inquiry, CMS, Tag Manager, ranking data, crawling tools, or staging may be relevant. You will receive a specific list of access rights in advance.
Does our team have to carry out the audit themselves?
No. You can implement it internally, engage existing service providers, or involve me for guidance and review. The audit identifies which discipline and role is required for a particular initiative.
Does the audit include a keyword analysis?
If search intent, topic coverage, or site architecture is part of the question, yes. The depth is defined in the scope. A complete keyword and content strategy can be a separate work step for larger projects.
Is a technical SEO audit sufficient?
Only when the question is clearly technical. For visibility issues, technical, content, internal linking, search intent, and competition often need to be considered together.
Can an audit explain ranking losses?
He can narrow down technical, content, structural, and external causes and cross-reference them with time-based developments. Not every loss can be attributed to a single factor. A serious analysis distinguishes between proven causes, plausible hypotheses, and open questions.
Is GEO checked in the SEO audit?
Basic entity, content, and structural topics can be considered. For a systematic analysis of mentions, responses, sources, and competitors in generative systems, a dedicated GEO audit is better suited.
